Inspect the quality of product during stitching
- Inspect the stitching area for any type of hazardous material.
- Check that the stitching area is clean.
- Identify the process of stitching the garment.
- Identify stitching defects in construction of the garment like uneven stitch length, thread incompatibility, curling, shading, uneven panels, pulling or puckering, stretching and needle damage.
- Identify the methods of handling the stitching defects.
- Inspect the quality during the stitching process.
- Inspect the sewing machine controls like thread tension, needle, attachments, bobbin foot pressure before and during stitching.
